We are building additional roles as Playa Soídia moves through construction, pre-opening, and operations.Some positions will be remote or U.S. based. Others will be based in Nicaragua. Some will be employment positions and some will be contract or project based.Areas we're currently anticipating include:Project Management: NicaraguaWe need an experienced project manager who can manage multiple projects simultaneously in Nicaragua as construction and development move forward.The right person will be highly organized, calm under pressure, fluent in Spanish, authorized to work in Nicaragua, and experienced managing multiple moving parts at once.Knowledge of local laws, regulations, customs, permitting, construction, vendors, and government or municipal processes is highly valuable. Strong relationships and rapport within the local community are a major plus.Website & TechnologyWe need someone capable of building a high quality website and booking experience that can support direct reservations.This includes developing a proprietary rate management system that can automatically adjust rates based on changing conditions and defined business parameters.This is a role for someone who understands both the technical side and the actual business requirements of a hospitality operation.Marketing, PR & Social MediaWe are looking for experienced marketers and communicators who can help introduce Playa Soídia to the world.Depending on experience and the eventual structure of the team, this may include PR, social media, content strategy, partnerships, brand communications, storytelling, and digital marketing.Construction Documentation & MediaAs construction progresses, we will need someone on the ground in Nicaragua for approximately five months before opening to document the transformation of Playa Soídia.This may ultimately be one role or several, including photography, video, social content, storytelling, editing, and digital publishing.We are especially interested in people who know how to capture the process of building something from the ground up, not simply photograph the finished product.Nicaragua based roles generally require authorization to work in Nicaragua.
